Deactivated Firearms Notification Requirements

UK Government now (from 12/12/19) requires that the ownership and transfer of some deactivated firearms are now notified. Importantly, this requirement does not apply to any firearm deactivated prior to the EU specifications coming into force (08/04/16), i.e. UK legacy deactivated firearms. It does apply to all EU specification deactivated firearms but there are slightly different requirements for items owned prior to 14/09/20. Full details can be found at the link below.
