BRUNI Blank Firing Guns Re-Classification

In September 2025, as a result of forensic testing, the following BRUNI blank firing handguns were re-classified as prohibited firearms, i.e. illegal to own or to sell:
8mm PAK Bruni BBM Model 92 blank firing self-loading pistol
8mm PAK Bruni BBM New Police blank firing self-loading pistol
8mm PAK Bruni BBM Model 96 blank firing self-loading pistol
8mm PAK Bruni BBM Model ‘GAP’ blank firing self-loading pistol
.380R (9mmK) PAK Bruni BBM ME Ranger single-action blank firing revolver
A firearms amnesty is being organised for February 2026, where the above models can safely be handed in at local police stations.
